Serving Grace

EXCEL AND GROW IN GRACE

Grace Academy’s Early Childhood Program provides a high-quality learning environment that enables every child to excel and grow in grace.  We believe children learn best through play which fosters exploration and discovery.  To that end, we provide a nurturing learning environment which promotes, supports, and honors discovery and exploration through play.   We provide a range of opportunities to explore, imagine, investigate, and engage in purposeful and meaningful experiences.  We understand that through play, a child actively poses problems, explores solutions, and develops understanding of real world concepts.  We strive to create meaningful learning opportunities to support the social, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual development of each child.

Our program nurtures an innate thirst for better, fuller, deeper understanding of their own experiences, strengthens their intellectual dispositions, and fosters the growth of each child to his or her fullest potential.  Our curriculum enables children to develop curiosity, confidence, creativity, and life-long critical thinking skills.   We promote a safe, caring, and supportive environment, and encourage kindness and cooperation in every child.

Our Twos program provides a loving, enriching, and safe first learning experience for your child.  Students explore their new learning environment at their own developmental pace while we provide opportunities for them to grow as learners and peers.

LAY EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS

MICHAEL WORRELL

The Threes program emphasizes independent and collaborative exploration.  Children learn how to cooperate in community and how to be a kind friend.  Our program nurtures the inquisitive nature of children and instills the joy of learning.

Our program is designed to further the development of each child with the ultimate objective of social, emotional, and academic readiness, as our four year olds prepare for kindergarten.  The foundation of our curriculum is play.  Through this play, we guide students' learning in imaginative and cooperative learning opportunities.

KINDERGARTEN GIANT LEAP

Kindergarten Giant Leap is a dynamic educational program designed to compliment a Kindergartener's academic day by extending their learning in a fun and nurturing environment.  The thematic curriculum provides a balanced approach to learning which includes instruction in writing, reading, math, science, social studies, art, and world languages.  Kindergarten Giant Leap is designed to keep Kindergarteners' minds stimulated with learning activities.  With an active pace, KGL will challenge young minds to go beyond the classroom curriculum.  Students will perform experiments, build team working skills, problem solve, explore foreign cultures, learn new languages and customs, and discover their creativity.  KGL is designed as a five-day program, but is also offered as a 2- or 3-day program, mornings 8:45-11:15 and afternoons 12:00-2:30.  Lunch runs from 11:15-12:00 for both groups and is included in the KGL tuition (lunch is not provided).  It's a great way for morning and afternoon Kindergarteners to meet, eat, and play!
